2007 Finished second with the USA Softball Men’s National Team at the ISF Men’s World Cup in Prague – batted .294 and collected his first grand slam of his national team career
2006 Led the USA Men’s National Team to a first place finish at the AAU International Championship in Orlando, FL Named second-team ASA All-American playing for Patsy’s of New York City and batted .500 (6-for-12) during the ASA Men's Major Fast Pitch National Championship
2005 Named first-team All-American playing for ASA National Champions - Tampa Bay Smokers, Batted a record .711 in the Men's Major Fast Pitch National Championship to capture his first Batting Title at an ASA National Championship Batted .320 in ISC World Tournament
2004 Batted .444 in ASA Men's Major Fast Pitch National Championship playing for Circle Tap of Denmark, WI and named first-team ASA All-American
2003 Won a silver medal with the USA Softball Men's National Team at Pan American Games in Santo Domingo
2002 Gold medalist at Pan Am Qualifier in Guatemala City, Guatemala with the USA Softball Men's National Team Competed in the Canada Skins Games in Victoria, B.C., Canada Played for the Tampa Bay Smokers, 7th in the ASA Men’s Major Fast Pitch National Championship

Assistant Coach at Spring Valley High School in Huntington, West Virginia. Graduate of Marshall University in May of this year with a degree in Secondary Education emphasizing in Social Studies.
2007-2010
Pitching Instructor working independently as well as in facilities across the state of West Virginia.
2009
Pitcher and outfielder on USA Athletes International team representing the USA mainly in Sydney, Australia.
2009
Developed the Autumn Mitchell Fastpitch Clinic instructing pitchers of various ages throughout Southern West Virginia. Also developed an instructional DVD titled The Backdoor Curve.
2005-2009
Member of Marshall University Softball in Huntington, West Virginia. During Senior season went 11-6 in the circle with a 3.09 ERA pitching 129 innings and a team high 129 strikeouts. Junior season went 10-5 leading the team with a 2.55 ERA, 34 appearances, 2 saves, as well as lead in strikeouts with 95 in 93 innings pitched.
2002-2005
Attended Shady Spring High School in Shady Spring, West Virginia. Was a member of four state championship teams during this time in volleyball (2003,2004) and softball (2003,2005). Garnered All-State recognitions in volleyball (1st Team, 2nd Team, & Special Honorable Mention), basketball (3 consecutive Honorable Mentions), and softball (Co-Captain of 1st Team, 1st Team Infield, 2nd Team).
Daughter of Kenneth and Elizabeth Mitchell. Has a brother, Johnathan, who resides in North Carolina with his wife and a sister, Tarah, who was a catcher for 3 years at Marshall University.

My name is Holly Hughes and I am a native of Greenfield, Indiana. I am the daughter of Harold and Sharon Gibson and have a brother who attended University of Missouri and played baseball. I recently moved to Ashland with my husband Mike who is a medical student.
2008-2010
While my husband was in medical school we lived in Lewisburg, WV where I was the assistant varsity softball coach at Greenbrier East High School, Lewisburg, WV.
2006-2007
Junior varsity softball coach at Greenfield Central High School.
2004-2006
Transferred to Transylvania University, Lexington, Kentucky and graduated in 2006 with an Elementary Education degree. While at Transy, I was a member of the 2006 team that won the HCAC conference tournament and made their first appearance in the NCAA DIII National Tournament in Salem, Va.
2002-2004
Attended Huntington College and started as a freshman first baseman.
1998-2002
Attended Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, Indiana and played four years of softball.
